HCS 2024 Kickoff Hype Reel | Unreal Engine 5 Project
I modeled the trophy in Blender which taught me a lot about proper techniques in 3D modeling and creating efficient models. Some of the items used are ready made assets. Creating the LED screens was the touch I wanted to incorporate. Pixel masking, emissive video textures, and timing the scene composition proved rewarding in the end.
Many nights through the last 2 weeks, working on it until 3AM, it was pretty ironic that I finally finished the final composition of the video at 3AM, the morning I had to leave for the airport to catch my flight to HCS Arlington at 6AM.
