For this project, I only had 1 day of shooting available. Thankfully, the public affairs office at Cyber Command provided some B-roll and the interview with the General in order for me to fully flesh out this feature on one of the Army's newest job specialties.
Shot at Eglin AFB Florida, I document the rigorous phases of the DOD's EOD training. The 44 week course would have been impossible to capture completely given the timeline of 3 days to shoot at Eglin. I decided to capture the aspects of the training that not many know are part of the EOD pipeline as well as interview some of the Army's newest Soldiers as they make their way through training.
Working on a tight timeline of 2 days to shoot, I produced this piece at Fort Liberty. Falling in on a rough script already provided, I shadowed a couple students and instructors to properly showcase this job specialty that is often shrouded in secrecy.
